Core System
The core system of SHORE is a server application written in C++ that works as a HTTP Server.
The server can be accessed by any standard web browser with Java capabilities. Though most of the user interface is pure HTML, SHORE uses a Java applet for menues and some dialogues.
In addition SHORE has a command line client implemented in Java that can be used to add documents to the repository or update them. The command line client can be used for integration with other tools like source code repositories.
